Wet, Windy, Wellington what a change in the weather. Cloud had descended and everywhere looked grey.
Here’s my great niece Tyla and great nephew Flynn
As the weather was miserable we headed to Te Papa museum which was so colourful an full of interesting things to see,How about a colossal squid
Or our Charlie’s favourite
Time for cake break
We even found our Margaret’s bikini
By now we needed some fresh air so we headed outside to the bush walk. We couldn’t persuade Robyn to cross this swing bridge.
Can’t believe we found a cake we couldn’t eat
The art work in the city is fantastic this bridge crosses a busy road.
Even spotted a trolley bus
We took a cable car to have a look over the city.
To get down we followed the pink flower.
By now it was drizzling lucky we got free ponchos from the rugby volunteers
The kids got to play at the park even though it was wet.
Ready
Where is he?
Arrived safely
Following the path down, we came across a lovely pond with a family of ducklings
So we stopped awhile
The park had lots of flower displays these represent the flags of the rugby teams that have played in Wellington
Finally he headed back to the hotel to get ready for our evening get together.
Happy birthday! Looks like your having a fab time, despite the disappointing rugby.
