Sun 2nd Oct Moving on
It’s Sunday and where should you be on a Sunday ? Church of course.
Charlie and Robyn picked us up at Napier airport and promptly whisked us off to church! Maybe they thought we needed saving. Relief when we realised that this beautiful place was in fact a fabulous restaurant.
A stunning interior and mouth watering food, a winning combination. The owner has converted this church into a top notch eaterie.
Phil and I had the squid to start. Followed by lamb and the fish of the day, John Dory. Washed down with two bottles of house wine. Couldn't manage a sweet, shame.
Well and truly stuffed we headed home. Charlie and Robyn live in a beautiful single storey cottage that is over 100 years old.
