Fri 21st Oct Bronze Final.

Another sunny day another glorious beach, we didn’t need to travel far to find this beautiful bay at Takapuna. It ‘s one of the numerous beaches here in Auckland city.

How about fishing from one of these?
Takapuna has adopted France as it’s second country to support.  Everywhere is decked in Red White & Blue. I bet they wish they had someone else in view of the pending final! A local French patisserie was driving round town in a 2CV blasting out the French national anthem.
If you go to the seaside it either fish & chips or ice cream, today it’s ice cream, delicious but not as good as Rush Munroes in Hastings.
As we wandered back to the car we saw a rather famous French supporter taking an afternoon nap.
Back at the apartment we are entertained by the ever changing view in the harbour.

This could be why my jeans don’t fit!
The atmosphere in town is in party mood. The fans from both teams are up for a bit of competition.
And yes he does exist I’ve met him.
So we joined in the fun.
Just outside the ground we met these tall ladies. If I was this tall I would be the right weight!

We had brilliant seats right close to the ground but Phil had to tell this guy more than once to SIT down
Then we spotted him even with his hood up, New Zealand’s most hated! Quade Cooper, why most hated? He did the unthinkable. Left New Zealand to play for Australia!!!!!!!!

He was keeping a very very low profile.
Good game and yet again if Wales had kicked their penalties it would have been theirs.
