Sat 1st Oct. Game 4

We spent the morning wandering around Devonport. There are some beautiful Art Deco buildings. Here’s the former Post Office which has been split into smaller shops.

Look what we spotted here.

After lunch we headed over to Auckland on the ferry. All the handrails along the ferry terminal have been decorated with these. It seems to be the latest craze and it certainly looks better than graffiti

We were very tense as this was a must win game against the aulde enemy. Free buses were laid on to take us to Eden Park. We had good seats close to the pitch.
It took 6 goes to get a decent picture of Lewis Moody. He was so quick that by the time I had clicked the camera he was gone!
After lots of nail chewing and lip biting and swearing we finally sent the Scots home. Phil is overjoyed that this is the first time that Scotland have not progressed to the quarter finals since the World Cup competition began in 1987, Big  Shame!
