Today we have glorious sunshine so we headed down to St Clair’s beach, just outside Dunedin . Yet again we were spoilt with stunning views of the coast line.
We wandered over to the outdoor heated saltwater pool, which was closed unfortunately but the café was open so it would have been rude to pass by. Here’s today’s choice of coffee and cake.
Ok so we’ve over indulged on the cake front so we set off for a brisk walk along the beach.
We were just discussing if sharks would be in the area when our question was answered by this.
This confirms we are a long way from home.
Our walk along the sand dunes certainly stretched our legs.
Walking back to the car we bumped into some friends. You may not recognise Mike Tindall as he didn’t have a blonde on his arm! Mark Cuteo & Richard Wrigglesworth completed the trio.
Why is it you bump into England team members when you don’t have,
a) Your autograph book with you, (in the car boot)
b) Your England shirt that you have bought for the purpose of collecting signatures is also locked in the boot.
They were all very obliging with the fans and duly stood whilst we took photos.
We got to the stadium in plenty of time to tie up our Union Jack that we have customised. So keep your eyes peeled and you may spot “Smoggies on tour”. We were right opposite the tunnel for this match.
Stay out of the water !!!! Haven't seen you on t.v. yet ? Enjoyed Ireland v Australia game.
