Journey down South

Finally we’re on our way to the Rugby. To pass the time on our 5 hour drive we’re playing spot the Motor Home. When we arrived at Christchurch there were hundreds of them in the car parks.
We broke our journey at Oamaru and visited the historic quarter as recommended by Charlie. It’s absolutely amazing and with a bright blue sky the buildings looked stunning.
Of course we had to stop for tea and cake in a restored warehouse, check out the tea cups.
Which turned into lunch

We spotted this amazing piece of altered art….a car

Unfortunately we had to tear ourselves away and carry on our journey but if you’re ever in the area check it out.
Oh by the way 34 motor homes spotted
