Normal schedule resummed

Sorry folks a posting didn't load before we set off from Hong Kong. So to update you what's happening here. We left HK on Monday 5th Sept and flew to Kuala Lumpur and then onto Auckland. The business lounge in Kuala Lumpur was amazing it even had a practise putting green!

Then once in Auckland we had an overnight stay at an airport hotel which was really nice and got chatting to a Kiwi who invited us to his 700 acre spread on Lake Taupo so that Phil could do some fly fishing (not sure if we can fit that in yet) but he was really good company. Everyone is so friendly and so excited just look at the welcome waiting for us when we landed in Auckland.

Then down to Christchurch which was so low key hardly any mention of the Rugby. It's such a shame that they are not going to be involved. Met up with my brother as he was working here for a day or two and he took us on a drive around the city centre, well what's left. The devastation is right in the centre. It is surrounded by fencing and after 6pm when all the construction staff leave it's like a ghost town. A lot of buildings have been demolished already so it's looking a bit sad and there is no atmosphere. So tomorrow we're going over to the coast and a beautiful spot called Akaroa.
