Well it would have been rude not to pop in and say hello. Needless to say some goodies popped into my bag. It was a great shop with lots of good stuff, classes and very friendly staff.
Next up those strangely named (by none other that Captain Cook) Glass House mountains. Huge and I mean huge volcanic mountains.
and stopped a small village Monteville for coffee and that all elusive .....cake.
Ok so now we needed to walk off that cake so we made for Kondalilla falls.
It was a beautiful walk down through the rainforest. We stopped at the lookout and tried out the timer on the camera. We have only had the camera about 4 years and had never used the timer before!! It worked a treat so maybe now there will be more photos of us both.
The falls were worth the walk as it had rained a few days before so there was plenty of water.
Leaving the falls we made haste to our b&b at Eumundi as they serve tea and cake in the afternoon and brother Charlie said not to miss! Cake is like buses you wait ages for one and two come along together. So the second cake is homemade banana cake.
Our host Damien is a chef by trade and that cake was to die for!
The Gridley B&B is a periodic Queenslander single storey house. It has a wrap around veranda so that you can sit in the sun all day.
It was heavenly spending time at this b&b.
MMM nice looking cakes!!!! Were you around the lake when the 3 players were having a swim???
